Police arrests hybrid terrorist and his associate in Budgam, J&K

In the Kashmir Valley, J&K Police along with Army's 53 Rashtriya Rifles apprehended a hybrid terrorist and his associate in Pakharpora area of Budgam district.

 

According to the Police, the preliminary investigation revealed that the arrested duo were operating under the banner of proscribed terror outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba/ TRF in Pakherpora area of the district.

 

From their possession, arms & ammunition including one Pistol, one Pistol magazine, 9 rounds, and other incriminating material were recovered.

 

Meanwhile, a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Chrar-i-Sharief and further investigation has been taken



up.

In another case, Police arrested two terrorist associates linked with proscribed terror outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba in Gudoora area of Pulwama district yesterday. From their possession, incriminating materials were recovered.  The investigation revealed that both the accused persons are terrorist associates of an active terrorist Aqib Sher Gojri linked with proscribed terror outfit LeT. 

Preliminary investigation also revealed that arrested terrorist associates were in a conspiracy with terrorist Aqib Sher-Gojri to carry out terrorist attacks in Pulwama.  A case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigation is on.
