Police dog ‘Veena’ cremated with police honours in Vizianagaram

Police sniffer dog ‘Veena,’ which served the Vizianagaram Police Department for years, died at the age of 12 on Friday, January 31.  The dog was cremated with full police honours at Ayannapeta Cremation Grounds here, said Vizianagaram District Superintendent



of Police Vakul Jindal.

In a statement issued by the Vizianagaram Police, the SP informed that the female sniffer dog was handed over to the district Police Department in 2014. She completed her training at the Police Intelligence Department.
