Poll process in Assam intensifies after issuance of notification

In Assam , poll process has been intensified following the issuance of notification. Official sources said that the Deputy Election Commissioner of India is holding a review meeting now on poll preparedness in Guwahati. Several Deputy Commissioners and SP have also attended the



meeting.Meanwhile, Expenditure Observers have been arrived in a few districts.

They will keep a watch on the expenditure of candidates.The Election Commission has installed GPS on the vehicles of flying squad.The first phase of polling will be held on 4th of April in 65 seats.
