Polling for municipal elections begins in Andhra Pradesh

In Andhra Pradesh polling for municipal elections has commenced this morning in 12 municipal corporations, 71 municipalities and city panchayats in the state. As many as 78,71,272 people are expected to cast their

votes.

The State Election Commission has made all necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of the local body poll today. Counting will take place on March 14.
