The portals of the famous Badrinath shrine, located in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, opened yesterday morning at six am , allowing devotees to have darshan in accordance with Vedic rituals and tradition.
Devotees in large number were present to witness this moment. The temple was decorated with marigold flowers for the
occasion.
Extensive arrangements have been made at the administrative level to ensure smooth darshan for the devotees.
With the opening of the gates of Badrinath shrine, all four dhams of Uttarakhand are now open for devotees. Earlier, the gates of Kedarnath, Yamunotri, and Gangotri shrines were opened on 10th May.
