Powerful bomb blast rocks Imphal

A powerful bomb blast rocked state capital Imphal this evening. Police sources said, the blast took place at around 5:55 this evening just beside the boundary wall of the Jonestone Higher Secondary School under City Police Station in Imphal West. 

The bomb was reportedly planted just beside a small



tree near the high security zone of M-Sector just few metres away from the Raj Bhavan, Imphal along the road side of Kanglapat.

There is no report of any human casualty in the incident. Police rushed to the spot just after the blast and is on search operation to nab the culprits.
