Pranab Mukherjee to address 1st convocaion of Nalanda University in Bihar today

President Pranab Mukherjee will address the first convocation of Nalanda University at Rajgir in Bihar today. The President will also lay the foundation stone of the permanent campus of the University at Pilkhi village in Rajgir.

Nath Kovind, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Chancellor George Yeo will grace the occasion. Altogether 70 scholars from India and abroad are expected to attend the function. Mr Mukherjee arrived in Patna yesterday on a two-day visit to the state.
