President Draupadi Murmu approves 93 gallantry awards for armed forces

President Draupadi Murmu has sanctioned 93 gallantry awards for the armed forces. Notable among these are two Kirti Chakras and 14 Shaurya Chakras. Major Manjeet and the late Naik Dilwar Khan were

recipients of the Kirti Chakras.

The CRPF secured the most medals among police forces, with awards recognizing efforts in counter-terrorism, anti-Maoist, and Northeast operations.
