President Droupadi Murmu is embarking on a two-day visit to Chhattisgarh from today. She will take part in various programs in both Raipur and Bilaspur. This trip marks her maiden visit to the state since assuming office as the President of India.
Upon her arrival in Raipur this morning, President Droupadi Murmu will participate in a programme hosted by the Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Trust at Shanti Sarovar in Raipur. Subsequently, she
will proceed to visit the Mahant Ghasidas Museum.
On 1st September she is scheduled to visit the Mahamaya Temple in Ratanpur, located in the Bilaspur district. Besides, the President will attend the 10th Convocation ceremony of Guru Ghasidas Central University. During this event, the university will confer PhD degrees upon 28 research scholars and award gold medals to 76 students.
