Lucknow: The President of India, Droupadi Murmu will address the 2nd convocation ceremony of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Lucknow today during her two-day visit to Uttar Pradesh. Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also grace the occasion.
A total of 315 degrees will be conferred, including 254 for boys and 61 for girl students. These degrees and diplomas include three B Tech programmes, two M Tech programmes, two MBA
courses, and six PG diplomas. Tight security arrangements have been made in view of the President's program. 3844 policemen and 12 company PACs have been deployed on duty. Event venue has been declared no-flying zone for drones.
Earlier, on Monday President Murmu addressed the 45th convocation of Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith at Varanasi and also graced the 27th years celebration of Divine Heart Foundation at Lucknow.
