President Droupadi Murmu to present India Smart City Award 2022 in Indore today

Indore: President Droupadi Murmu is arriving to Madhya Pradesh today on a day-long visit. The President will participate in various programs to be held in Indore and Jabalpur.

President Mrs Draupadi Murmu will present the India Smart City Award 2022 to selected cities of the country today during the India Smart City Conclave held in Indore. This competition is being organized by the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Development since 2018 under the Smart City



Mission. Representatives of all 100 smart cities will be present in this conclave.

The Smart City Award aims to promote urban innovation and provide a platform for excellent work.  The President will also lay the foundation stone of the new building of Madhya Pradesh High Court at IITDM Auditorium in Jabalpur in the afternoon.
