President Droupadi Murmu to reach Uttarakhand on three-day visit to state

President Droupadi Murmu will reach Uttarakhand today on a three-day visit to the state. She will participate in various programs during her visit. The President will address the 35th convocation ceremony at  Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology at Pantnagar University in Udham Singh Nagar district. She will also visit Badrinath Dham tomorrow to pay obeisance at the divine Himalayan shrine.

Besides, the President



is also scheduled to attend the 11th convocation of Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal  University at Srinagar, tomorrow.

On Thursday, the President will attend a program in Dehradun to celebrate Uttarakhand State Foundation Day. Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the high-profile visit and security has been beefed up at places where the president is slated to visit.
