President Kovind hosts At-Home reception in honour of freedom fighters

President Ram Nath Kovind today hosted At- Home reception in the honour of freedom fighters at Rashtrapati Bhavan this evening. The event was held on the occasion of 76th anniversary of Quit India Day. 

The President felicitated 89 freedom fighters from across the country at Rashtrapati Bhavan on this occasion.

Minister Narendra Modi was also present at the event and interacted with freedom fighters. In a tweet, Mr Modi said, we all cherish valuable contribution of these freedom fighters towards the nation. The event was also attended by former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Union minister Rajnath Singh and other dignitaries.
