President Kovind & PM Modi expresses grief over loss of life due to thunderstorms in different parts of country

President Ram Nath Kovind has expressed grief over loss of life due to rain and thunderstorms in different parts of the country. In a tweet, Mr Kovind said his thoughts are with fellow citizens who have been affected, especially little children.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed sorrow over the loss of lives in storms that hit parts of the



country this evening.He said he has asked officials to provide all possible assistance to those affected. In a tweet, the Prime Minister said he is saddened by the loss of lives due to storms.

Offering condolences to the bereaved families, Mr Modi also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured.
