President Kovind to visit Gujarat today

President Ram Nath Kovind will visit Gujarat today. During a day-long stay, he will visit the Statue of Unity - the world’s tallest statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Kevadia Colony in Narmada district.

Mr Kovind will also visit various places like ‘Valley of Flowers’, ‘Wall of Unity’, ‘Museum and Exhibition Halls’ and others at the venue of Statue of



Unity. 

During the visit, the President will be accompanied by Gujarat Governor Om Prakash Kohli, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Union Railway Minister Piyush Goyal among others.

The Statue of Unity venue will remain closed till noon today for the public on security reasons. The Chief Minister yesterday held a review meeting in connection with the President's visit.
