President Ram Nath Kovind will arrive in Bhopal today on a two-day visit to Madhya Pradesh. This will be his first visit to the state after becoming President. The President will take part in two functions in Bhopal today.
President will attend the Kabir pragatotsav programme organized at Lal Parade Ground. On this occasion, Mr Kovind will release a book on the 15th century mystic poet which is published by
the state government's culture department. He will also unveil the statue of Veerangana Jhalakari Bai at GTB Complex, Tatya Tope Nagar in Bhopal.
The President will go to Amarkantak on 11th November where he will attend the Second Convocation of the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University. Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the President’s visit in the state. Samir.
