President Murmu to attend silver jubilee celebrations of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly

President Droupadi Murmu will visit Chhattisgarh and Odisha today. During her visit, President Murmu will attend the silver jubilee celebrations of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly at Raipur.

The President will arrive at Swami Vivekananda Airport in Raipur at around 10:30 am today by an Indian Air Force plane. After this, she will reach the state assembly premises and plant a sapling here. 

The President will attend the silver jubilee celebrations organized in the Legislative Assembly and will address the program. The function will



also be addressed by Governor Ramen Deka, Assembly Speaker Dr Raman Singh, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and Leader of Opposition Dr Charandas Mahant. A book titled Sadsya Sandarbh will also be released during the function.

The President will also visit the famous Sri Nilamadhaba Temple at Kantilo of Nayagarh district in Odisha today and have a darshan of the deity. After the darshan, she will attend  Bharatiya Biswabasu Shabar Samaj Foundation function at Kaliapalli in Nayagarh district.
