President Ram Nath Kovind arrives in Srinagar

Srinagar: President Ram Nath Kovind who is on a four day visit to Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh from yesterday, has arrived in Srinagar. Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha received  Mr Kovind on his arrival at Srinagar. The President was also accorded a guard of honour.

 

Today, the President will visit



Kargil War Memorial Drass in Ladakh and pay homage on the 22nd Anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, to the indomitable courage and sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces during the Kargil Conflict in 1999. The President will also grace and address the 19th Annual Convocation of the University of Kashmir in Srinagar on Tuesday.
