President Ram Nath Kovind greets citizens on Durga Puja

President Ram Nath Kovind has greeted citizens on Durga Puja. In a message, Mr Kovind said, respect for women which has been Indian tradition is powerfully depicted in this festival. He urged everyone to  take a firm resolve on this occasion to respect and empower the womenfolk,

Mr Kovind said, it is believed that Goddess Durga used the collective power of all Gods to overcome the invincible evil. He said it gives people the message that in these difficult times, any crisis confronting us  can be overcome if we stand united.
