President Ram Nath Kovind will be on a two-day visit to Uttar Pradesh from today. He will first visit Kanpur and address the 51st Convocation Of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur today.
Mr Kovind will also interact with the students of Centre For Social Responsibility and Leadership at IIT Kanpur.
Tomorrow, the President will lay the foundation stone of an auditorium of the Kanpur Bar Association.
In Allahabad, Mr Kovind will grace the centenary celebrations of the Allahabad Medical Association, before returning to Delhi.
It is President's third visit to his home
town Kanpur. Besides participating in scheduled programmes, he will meet about 200 people and delegations at his place of stay. Mr Kovind will lay foundation stone of auditorium of Kanpur Bar Association tomorrow second day of his visit.
Mr Kovind will move to Allahabad same day to address the centenary celebration of Allahabad Medical Association and launch rehabilitation centre conducted by the AMA. He will be back to Delhi same day. State Governor Ram Naik and Industrial Development Minister of the State Government Satish Maharana will receive the president at Kanpur airport on his arrival.
