President Ram Nath Kovind to visit Kanpur and Lucknow today

In Kanpur, the President will grace the International Conference on Women’s Health, Wellness and Empowerment. He will also address a seminar organised by the Talent Development Council, Kanpur, and unveil the statue of the late freedom fighter Shyamlal Parshad. 

In Lucknow, Mr. Kovind will formally inaugurate the 4th International Science Festival. The four-day event was opened



by Union Science and Technology Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan yesterday. 

During an interaction with young students, he said he believes that scientists will play an important role in realizing the dreams of making a New India. He said the Centre has launched many important programmes to promote science and technology in the country.
