Prez Murmu greets countrymen on the occasion of Guru Ravidas Jayanti

President Droupadi Murmu has greeted the countrymen on the occasion of Guru Ravidas Jayanti on Saturday.

In a social media post, President Murmu said that Saint Ravidas considered service to humanity as service to God. She further added that his entire life was dedicated to eradicating caste



and social discrimination, increasing love and harmony, and spreading devotion. 

The President urged everyone to follow the path of devotion and knowledge shown by Guru Ravidas and move towards building a society based on harmony.
