President Ram Nath Kovind has expressed grief over the loss of lives due to a fire at a  hospital in  Nagpur. In a tweet, Mr. Kovid said the loss of lives in the fire is distressing. He conveyed his deep sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in this accident.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also expressed grief over the incident. In a tweet, Mr. Modi said, his thoughts are with the families of those who



lost their lives. He also prayed that the injured recover at the earliest. Four people were reportedly killed in the fire incident

A massive fire erupted at Well Treat hospital in Wadi, Amravti road Nagpur late last evening resulting in the death of 4 people, and several others are injured. This private hospital was currently treating the COVID-19  patients. Around 27 patients were shifted to other hospitals due to safety precautions. Further details awaited.
