New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has termed the 75th Republic Day special saying that this year’s parade is dedicated to Nari Shakti.
Lauding the role of girls on the occasion of National Girl Child Day, the Prime Minister said, girls have the potential to bring transformative changes in society and country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday met Tableaux Artists, National Cadet Corps Cadets, and National Service Scheme Volunteers at his residence in New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also met Youth Exchange programme cadets from 25 countries and Tribal Guests of Republic Day Celebrations.
Highlighting the importance of youth in the development of the nation, the Prime Minister said,
the energy of youth will give a new direction to the country during the Amrit Kaal. He said, the country has resolved to become developed by the year 2047 and huge responsibilities lie on youth. Mr. Modi said, the Government is committed to fulfilling the dreams and aspirations of youth by creating new opportunities in every sector.
The Prime Minister also praised and highlighted the contribution made by Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur to the nation’s progress. Mr. Modi said, Jan Nayak Thakur Ji's life is an inspiration for everyone. He urged the youth to learn from the life of Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur who dedicated his life to the upliftment of poor and downtrodden.
