Hyderabad: Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Robert Vadra along with their son Raihan Vadra are on a one-day visit to the city on Saturday. According to sources, the Gandhi family, which is keeping this trip a private affair, are on a visit to L.V. Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), for taking second opinion from eye specialists for their son who reportedly received an eye injury while playing cricket.
Raihan Vadra was first taken to a couple of hospitals in New Delhi including All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). It is learnt that the doctors had advised for a second opinion, which made the Gandhi family to contact the eye specialists
at LVPEI.
According to sources, the doctors at LVPEI have prescribed a series of tests, which are being taken up at the hospital today. It is learnt that both the parents are accompanying the youngster while he is undergoing the diagnostic tests.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Robert Vadra along with their son are staying at Park Hyatt and senior Congress leader T.Subbi Rami Reddy is taking care of the logistics for conducting the diagnostic tests and consultation. According to officials, three senior eye specialists have been attached to conduct the diagnosis and give their opinion about the eye injury.
