Priyanka Gandhi nears Rahul’s victory margin in Wayanad bypoll win

Right from the day the Congress announced her candidature for the Wayanad Lok Seat bypoll, the only thing the people in Kerala were discussing was whether General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra would be able to beat her brother Rahul Gandhi’s victory margin, and on Saturday, she came quite close as



she won her first election.

Priyanka Gandhi won the Wayanad by-election with a margin of 4.08 lakh votes. Rahul Gandhi, who won the 2019 polls from Wayanad with a staggering margin of 4.30 lakh votes, saw his margin dip in the April 2024 polls, when he won with a margin of 3.64 lakh.
