Process of privatization of Air India to be completed during this year: HS Puri

Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has expressed hope that the process of privatization of Air India will be completed during this year.

 

Addressing a virtual meet on Namo app on Sunday, Mr Puri said that the government should not be running airports



and the airlines.

 

Last Tuesday, the government had extended the deadline for placing bids for Air India by two months till 30th October, as the Covid-19 fallout has disrupted economic activity globally.
