Earlier, the juvenile was immediately granted bail after the incident by the Board citing new laws but the decision sent shock waves across the civic society prompting the Pune Police to file an application in front of the Juvenile Justice Board to at least send the boy to Remand Home for

counseling.

Earlier the Pune Sessions Court yesterday ordered Vishal Agarwal, the father of the minor boy, to be kept in police custody till May 24 in connection with the Kalyani Nagar vehicle accident in Pune. Also, the sessions court ordered the bar owner and manager viz. Nitesh Shewani and Jayesh Bonkar to be kept in police custody for three days.
