Punjab police arrest 6 persons in Patiala violence

Patiala Police has arrested six persons including Barjinder Singh Parwana mastermind of instigating violence between two community groups near Kali Mata Mandir in Patiala city. The Inspector-General Patiala Range Mukhwinder Singh Chhina, Deputy Commissioner Shakshi Sahni and SSP Deepak Parik informed this while addressing a joint press conference

yesterday.

They said anybody involved in the anti-national activities would not be spared and any innocent person would not be harassed. IG Mulhwinder Singh said that Barjinder Singh Parwana has been arrested from SAS Nagar Mohali. Nine persons have been arrested in this case so far.
