Punjab's Mohali court issues new arrest warrant against BJP leader Tajinder Bagga

A day after high drama unfolded in Delhi, Punjab and Haryana over the arrest of Tajinder Bagga, a Mohali court on Saturday issued an arrest warrant against the BJP leader.

Tajinder Bagga has been charged under 153A, 505, 505(2), and 506 sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The Judicial Magistrate has asked the Cyber Crime Branch of Mohali to arrest Tajinder Bagga and produce him before the



court.

Reacting to the arrest warrant, Tajinder Bagga’s father, Pritpal Singh Bagga, said that they are ready to face anything.

“Yes, the arrest warrant has been issued against Tajinder Bagga. We have been told that Mohali Police has left for Delhi and could possibly reach the next 2-3 hours” said Pritpal Singh Bagga.

He added that Tajinder Bagga is presently with his lawyer.
