Purple Line of Bengaluru Metro begins

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed delight over commencement of services on two key stretches of the Purple Line of the Bengaluru Metro.

Modi said, this marks another significant step in enhancing ease of living for the residents of Bengaluru. The total length of metro rail network in Bengaluru has now increased to over 73 kilometers.
