The Communal Harmony Week or Quami Ekta Week is being observed across the country from today. The week is observed to highlight the strength and resilience of the nation to withstand any potential threats to the secular fabric.
An official release said, many programmes like meetings, seminars and symposia will be
organised during the week to highlight the importance of communal harmony and national integration. National Foundation for Communal Harmony, an autonomous organisation with the Union Home Ministry, organises Communal Harmony Campaign coinciding with the Qaumi Ekta Week. It observes the Communal Harmony Flag Day on 25th November.
