Rahul Gandhi, of the Congress, took a swipe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent comments regarding businessmen Adani and Ambani, questioning whether Modi was speaking from 'personal experience'.

During an election rally in Telangana's Karimpur, PM Modi criticized Rahul Gandhi for ceasing his attacks on Adani and Ambani once elections were announced, insinuating a potential deal between them and the Congress. Modi's remarks implied suspicion over the sudden halt in Gandhi's criticism towards the industrialists.

In response, Rahul Gandhi retorted, suggesting that Modi's mention of Adani and Ambani in public was a departure from his usual rhetoric behind closed doors. Gandhi quipped, 'You also know that they give money in a tempo. Is it your personal experience?' in a video message.

Gandhi further

challenged Modi to send investigative agencies like the CBI and ED to probe the businessmen, asserting that the Congress will ensure a fair investigation if voted to power.

Accusing Modi of favoritism towards top industrialists, including Adani and Ambani, the Congress has consistently criticized the government's alleged proximity to these figures.

Meanwhile, AICC general secretary Jairam Ramesh criticized Modi for attacking his own allies out of desperation for a clear majority in the elections.

Echoing similar sentiments, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra remarked on social media, suggesting that Modi's recent remarks reflect his frustration with the slowing momentum of his campaign.

As the political sparring intensifies, the electorate awaits answers from Modi, according to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
