Rahul Gandhi urges people to not use derogatory language towards Smriti Irani and other leaders

A month after the results of the Lok Sabha election were declared, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Friday urged people to “refrain from using derogatory language and being nasty” for ex-Union Minister Smriti Irani and other leaders.

tweeted, “Winning and losing happen in life. I urge everyone to refrain from using derogatory language and being nasty towards Smt. Smriti Irani or any other leader for that matter.”

“Humiliating and insulting people is a sign of weakness, not strength," the Raebareli MP added.
