In Maharashtra, Raigad district administration has issued advisory to over thousand and 500 people living in Mahad and Poladpur Talukas to move to safer places. The region has been experiencing heavy rains due to which nearly 413 families have been asked to evacuate the place immediately.

Due to heavy rains in Raigad district, land



has been severely damaged in some villages of Mahad and Poladpur talukas and houses have been damaged. Some parts of the village have been razed to the ground.

Therefore, the district administration has appealed to the villagers in these rain prone areas to move to safer places immediately.
