Jaipur: Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav yesterday inspected the Carriage and Wagon Maintenance Depot in Jaipur, Rajasthan. He took stock of the preparations for the operation of the Vande Bharat train.
Shri Vaishnav discussed with the officers, issues related to the maintenance of the Vande Bharat train. Railway Minister expressed satisfaction with the work of the Carriage and Wagon Maintenance Depot and said that it is fully prepared for the operation of the Vande Bharat train. Shri Vaishnav said that the Vande Bharat train will be run soon between Jaipur and
Delhi.
He inspected the Khati pura station and inquired about the passenger facilities in the newly constructed building. The Minister instructed the officials to complete the rest of the work soon.
Shri Vaishnaw inspected passenger facilities in New Delhi-Ajmer Shatabdi Express and interacted with the passengers. Talking to reporters, Mr Vaishnaw informed that the passengers have given positive feedback about the various services on the train. He said, the passengers told that trains and platforms are more clean than earlier.
