Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw Inspects Pune Railway Station

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw inspected the Pune railway station Saturday evening and took stock of the facilities available at the station. Speaking to the media on this occasion, Mr. Vaishnaw said that Pune station is an important station and a discussion on how to increase the facilities and capacity of this station was held during this



inspection. 

He asserted that the heritage of Pune Station will be preserved while enhancing the facilities and capacity in a phased manner. Informing that Uruli station will be developed along with Pune, Mr. Vaishnaw said that it has been decided to develop Uruli station as a big terminal.
