Railways operates 7,000 special trains for Deepawali, Chhath Puja

The Ministry of Railways is running seven thousand special trains to cater to the rush of passengers during the festive season of Deepawali and Chhath Puja. Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw said in New Delhi that around two lakh extra



passengers can travel by these special trains daily. He said that this year the number of special trains has increased to seven thousand, compared to four thousand five hundred trains operated last year.
