Railways suspend four staff members in connection with last week's Sealdah-Ajmer Express derailment

Railway has suspended four staff members for their negligence in duties in connection with the derailment of Sealdah-Ajmer Express at Rura railway station near Kanpur last week. 

North Central Railway spokesperson said, on-duty Station Master of Rura railway station, two Senior Section Engineer of Kanpur Central and a



Traffic Inspector have been suspended. In the Rura incident, 62 passengers had injured when 15 bogies of Sealdah-Ajmer express derailed on the 28th of last month. Railway spokesperson said, action has been taken on the basis of primary inquiry. The inquiry had been ordered by the Railway Ministry immediately after the incident.
