Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnav yesterday said 95,000 new vacancies will be completed soon in railways. Talking to media persons at Bettiah Junction in Bihar, Mr. Vaishnav said these new jobs will be additional to the recently held 1.5 lakh railway recruitments in the country.
Mr. Vaishnav said with the great response for NaMo and Vande Bharat trains, the railway has decided to enhance its production. The Railways Minister said his ministry has decided on a big-ticket investment from the government side in Bihar. Mr. Vaishnav said an investment worth over 95,500 crore rupees is underway in Bihar,
and it will completely transform railways in Bihar. The Union minister further added that there will be no dearth of money for Bihar, and it is assured by PM Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
He also said for the next financial year an allocation of 10,066 crore rupees has been made, which is a record for Bihar.
Earlier, the Union Minister inaugurated a ROB at Bettiah cantonment under East Central Railway completed at the cost of 103 crore rupees. He also addressed a public meeting at Bettiah Cantonment.
