New Delhi: Railways will operate 115 special trains to provide hassle-free travelling facilities to passengers during the ongoing festive season. Addressing a press conference, the Divisional Railway Manager of Delhi division, Sukhvinder Singh said, currently sixty-one special trains are running and 55 more trains will run soon in view of the Diwali and Chhath festival.
He said, 47 additional booking counters at New Delhi
Railway Station and 45 at Anand Vihar Station will be set up. Mr Singh said, the May I Help You booths will be operational at important stations for proper assistance and guidance of the passengers. He also said that the Railway will ensure that no change of platform at the last moment. Mr Singh said, one thousand three hundred Railway Protection Force will be deployed to handle extra rush.
