Railways working with ISRO to devise safety mechanisms to make travel more safer: Piyush Goyal

Railways Minister Piyush Goyal has said that Indian Railways is working with the Indian Space Research Organisation to devise safety mechanisms to make travel by trains more safer. 

Mr Goyal said he met ISRO Chairman A S Kiran Kumar few days ago in this regard. He said Indian Railways along with RailTel are working together to explore use of space technology for safety in the rail



network.

The Minister said modern technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning are going to change the working environment and India has opportunity to look at what is latest across the world and bring it to the country.He said round the clock access of connectivity and electricity is dream of billions of Indians and the government is making efforts to achieve it.
