Rain continues in northern parts of Kerala

Rain continues in northern parts of Kerala. Widespread damage is being reported in Thiruvananthapuram. Fishing ban is posed in Kerala Lakshadweep coast.

 

Large scale damage of agriculture is being reported. Low lying regions are flooded. Water level has risen in Neyyar. As rain continues Holiday has been declared for all



educational institutions in Thiruvananthapuram yesterday. 

Holiday has also being declared in schools in Kottayam districts which are affected by flood and those where relief camps are operational. Met dept forecasts high waves and storms in Kerala coast today.
