In Himachal Pradesh, rain during past few days is playing havoc in several districts. Met office has warned of heavy rain at some places in mid and lower hills in the state.  More than 400 crore Rupees damage has been estimated to property in various parts of the state so far due to rainfall. The Public Works Department has suffered maximum loss as hundreds of roads and bridges have been affected due to landslides while several water supply schemes have been also damaged.




class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;">Due to this rain, nearly two dozen trees were uprooted in past two days alone in Shimla causing damage to several houses, shops and vehicles parked on road side.
