Raj Thackeray's son engaged to Mumbai fashion designer

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena President Raj Thackeray's son Amit was engaged to his longtime girlfriend and fashion designer Mitali Borude at a small ceremony here on Monday afternoon.

The betrothal was held at a restaurant inside the Mahalaxmi Race Course, and attended by around five dozen select family members from both sides, friends of the couple and a



handful of guests, sources said.

However, Amit's uncle, Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray and other family members (of Uddhav) were not present.

Nevertheless, his famous aunt, Bollywood filmmaker Smita Thackeray (the ex-wife of Jaidev Thackeray - another cousin of Raj Thackeray), attended the ceremony.
