Rajasthan government will provide domestic LPG cylinders at a subsidised rate of 450 rupees from today.  Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma announced that the subsidy money will be directly transferred into the account of women beneficiaries. Currently, Below Poverty Line and PM Ujjwala Yojana beneficiaries are provided subsidised LPG cylinders at 500 rupees each. Each family would be eligible for

12 subsidised cylinders annually.

Mr Sharma said, taking inspiration from all-inclusive mantra of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas’, Rajasthan government has decided to start providing gas cylinders for 450 rupees to every BPL and Ujjwala scheme beneficiary family in the state.
