On the 2nd-day of visit in Ladakh, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated 63 bridges, built across the country, yesterday.
In a virtual program from Kyungam in Leh district, Rajnath Singh inaugurated 63 Border Roads Organization bridges in eight states in the country.
From Eastern Ladakh, at an altitude of 11 thousand 800 ft along with 50 Mtr Kunjan bridge across mighty Indus river on Leh-Loma road, Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated 62 various other bridges built by 15 various projects of Border Roads Organization (BRO), in Eight States across the country.
On the occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav BRO has dedicated 75 infrastructure projects to the nation. BRO used the latest
technologies in building these Class-70 bridges to meet the strategic requirements of Army.
From eastern Ladakh, defence minister Rajnath Singh warned neighbours to stick to the dialogue. After dedicating 63 bridges in the country from Ladakh, Mr Singh cautioned neighbours not to eye for India’s territory.
Defence minister Rajnath Singh sent a stern signal to the neighbors. Without mentioning China and Pakistan, referring sacrifice made by Galwan martyrs he warned the neighbours not under estimate Indian Army’s courage and valour.
Defence minister said if the intentions are genuine, issues that cropped up last year can be resolved with talks.
