Home Minister Rajnath Singh will be on a four-day visit to Uttarakhand beginning today. During his visit, Mr. Singh will visit the Mana, Lapthal and Rimkhim Border Out Posts of Indo-Tibetan Border Police. He will interact with the troops and attend the Sainik Sabhas. He will also inaugurate the Civic Action Programme and Blood Donation Camp at Joshimath.
The Home Minister will address the officer trainees of 92nd Foundation Course in Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie. He will also address the participants of Phase V of the mid-career training
programme there.
This is the first visit by Union Minister to China border after the resolution of the stand off in Doclam in Sikkim. Today the Home Minister will address the probationers of Civil Services at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussorie. He will also visit Indo-China border at Barahoti in Chamoli district where he will interact with the personnel of Indo-Tiberan Border Police who guard the border outpost. It may be recalled that Barahoti border witnessed transgression by Chinese army in recent past.
