Rajnath Singh to chair Northern Zonal Council meeting in Chandigarh

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will chair the 28th meeting of the Northern Zonal Council in Chandigarh today.The Council comprises Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi and Chandigarh. 

The meeting will be attended by Chief Ministers, ministers



and senior officers. It aims to boost regional cooperation between states and resolve inter-state differences and issues amicably.

The council meets every year and makes recommendations regarding any matter concerning border disputes to the member states.
