Rajya Sabha adjourned till 2 pm

The Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 2 P.M. today following protests by the Congress’ members on the issue of reported detention of a senior party leader in Karnataka.

The issue was raised during Zero Hour by



senior Congress leader Anand Sharma and others. They rushed to the well of the house raising slogans against the government. This forced the Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu to adjourn the house.
